WOYWW #250 ~~ Scrapbooking

So here we are...another Wednesday. I have loads to do on my day's off (Wed/Thurs). Monday I'm heading for the great state of Oklahoma for work. In the meantime, since it is Wednesday I'll share with you my crafty desk with WIP from last week. Why am I showing you my desk? Well, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground to see what I'm talking about.

Last week I pulled out all my scrapbook stuff from my Germany (Munich) trip wayyyyyy back in December 2009. I'm over halfway done though. I think after this I'm gonna try a Project Life album. Time for something different. That and some travel journals for smaller trips.

Here's a close up from one of the pages. Linderhof Palace. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside so just the winter scenery around the outside.

Hopefully I can get some more pages done over the next couple days. I want this done! Trying to catch up on projects!!

  2. Those Project Life pages do look like fun, and maybe a bit easier than trying to keep up with big entire scrapbook pages. Let us know if you do one! So cute that you have the same JoAnn's bag! I guess they've expanded our store, because I went there a few years ago and it just seemed like a fabric store with a few craft things, but now the craft aisles are really well stocked with great sale and clearance prices. 3. I am loving your pages! They look great!

I like Project Life as well, but I do both PL and "traditional" scrapping depending on the mood I'm in!

  6. Your layouts are amazing, so lovely to capture such a special trip! I went over to PL last summer and am totally hooked on it. I love that can work on small individual cards that take no time at all and they are building up a very special album! I also love mini albums for individual trips!

  10. Hi Gita Project Life does look like fun but I know I would miss spending lots of time creating on 12 x 12 layouts so I like to mix it up a bit and it is fun creating the little journalling cards from the scraps we have left over. Enjoy. Wishing you a great week and a happy WOYWW Hugs Helen 61

  16. I've seen SO many people go to those PL albums, but they require lots of commitment, and I don't have time to take photos and get them into an album every day. That would scare me! I sure love your Germany photos, though.

It's always great to get a project finished. I know I have a few I would like to call done.

When you are in OK, wave loudly (grin), because I'm right next door in Kansas. Happy WOYWW from #2.

  18. So much fun on that desk! Love your layout of the Palace grounds. I've got so many photos, and albums started that I have intimidated myself from scrapping! It's great that you are keeping on top of it all Gita.
