WOYWW #220

Happy Wednesday Y'all!! We've had more rain here, more gloomy weather, sort of fall weather this weekend. I was wearing long sleeve shirts to work! What gives?! It's still mid-August. I've only experienced temps in the 90's during this time of year here in the South. What has Mother Nature in store for winter? Oh boy....

So, it is Wednesday so that means it's also time to share my crafty workdesk with you. All brought to you by the wonderful Julia at Stamping Ground who puts all this together.

So there ya have it. My plan was to clean it off last night so it's all ready for me the next couple days. Didn't happen. On it is my new Stampin' Up paper cutter to the left. There are some Tim Holtz stamps along the right side, waiting to get my tag done for August. And the Halloween stuff that's been sitting on my desk. Along with some Sparkle N Sprinkle stamps.

That's it for me...I've barely woke up, got my cup of coffee and will be visiting some desks this morning and throughout my day's off.

Thanks for popping over and taking a peek!

  1. Looks like there is going to be some interesting stamping going on there today!
The weather here has been so strange this year! Even in Vegas it was cooler than usual although there had been a big storm when we arrived on Sunday so that always cools things down a bit, very pleasantly so though but still a bit hot for me!

  7. Happy WOYWW. Always love your blog background - so colourful. I am just starting on Halloween, and was meant to be making one Xmas card per day, but that isn't working out for me! Ali x #48

  11. Hi Gita I still have my August tag to do. I don't have any of the stamps or the distress pens so I don't know where his inspiration is going to lead this month but I know I will enjoy it all the same. Have fun with your tag. Happy WOYWW from Helen 71 x

  17. Happy WOYWW, Gita! I spy some Halloween stamps -- a bat and a skeleton. I love making Halloween cards. I found a fun piece of older scrapbook paper at Joann's the other day -- it's from Heidi Grace Designs (which is out of business) but it says "Trick or Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat" which I think will be funny as backgrounds on cards this year. Hope you're having a good week. ~ Laura #116

  20. We've had the weirdest weather in the UK this year too but have had a wonderful summer to make up for it all, I think we are going to have a big crop of apples and blackberries!
I love the stuff on your desk but really like the snowflake medallion form your previous post, lovely pattern!

    1. Thanks Jan! Funny, that was my least favorite of the medallions I made. My sister also liked the one you see the best.

  21. Halloween stuff in August is better than Christmas in July :) Another tidy desk - is this a trend? I too peeped back at the snowflake, couldn't resist, for all my moaning :)

Happy (better late than never) WOYWW!

  22. I am so looking forward to seeing Halloween stuff being made - not that long now to wait. We don't celebrate it quite the way you do over in the UK but it is catching on and I think I have sort of caught the bug. Just hope I get chance to make some things.
Our weather has been strange - we had our first 'summer' in years - yes, we actually had some hot weather. Hope it stops raining and being cool for you soon.
Hugs and thanks for visiting me earlier, Neet - 32 xx

  26. Great desk. I think I have your weather, its hot and humid again here (yes, I have checked I am still in the UK) going dark now ready for the forecast thunder storms, not a fan of the heat.
Love the green of your desk.

  28. I've experienced rain, thunder, rain, lightening, rain, tornado threats, rain, hail, rain, and finally mosquitoes as a result of all that RAIN.

Halloween is probably a holiday I should focus on, since Christmas is just not happening for me, yet. What a fun looking desk this week, though. That new cutter may be what makes it fun, or maybe those stamps (grin).

Thanks for visiting on Wednesday. Happy slightly late WOYWW from #10.
