WOYWW? #189

Hello Folks! Well, another Wednesday has rolled around and it's time to share our workdesks....the wonderful Ms. Julia at Stamping Ground hosts this weekly event and there are lots of play areas to peek at....

So last week I posted a empty wall space and said I was getting a new desk and putting up some shelves, etc on my wall. Well, I managed to get it all done this weekend. Yay me!!! :-)

This is a long shot from the door. I have two of the same desks now. The 3 shelves and pegboard is what I added to the wall and put together the new desk.

A bit closer view of the new work area. I tried it out Sunday night and kinda like it. I put my Cuttlebug on the other desk and just rolled my chair over there when I needed it. It was nice not to have to put it on the desk, take it off. I need more hangie things for the peg board. I bought those baskets on Amazon and still trying to figure out what to put in the large one. It'll all come together...

And a close up of my desk...I worked on a card this weekend for a challenge..it was a card shaped like a house and came out quite cute! You can see it here

Well, that's it for me this week. Off to enjoy my morning coffee, play some Zynga games, check out some blogs and than it's time for work.

Happy Wednesday!!

    1. Oh Barbara, this is the cleanest the floor has looked in a long time. LOL. There was stuff all over the place but in order to get the new desk in I HAD to pick it all up. :-)

  15. Lovely space! I have several 'work stations' - like you say, it makes a huge difference not to have to keep moving stuff out of the way :)

  16. Your space is coming along great. My daughter two identical desks in her room. Hubby thought I was crazy when I wanted to buy two, but I couldn't find a longer desk to fit the space. It turned out wonderful and she uses all of the space.

Sorry I am 2 days late getting to your blog. I have been battling a nasty flu bug.

  17. Your room looks like it's coming along nicely. What a great space you have to play in, not like my tiny cubby hole!! It looks lovely and light with such pretty colours.
Have fun putting all your stash into it's new home.

  20. Oh, I love how your space is developing! It seems like such a pretty and roomy area to work in. Love the matching new desk! It helps the room maintain a cohesive look, ya know? And you'll figure out your pegboard as you settle into it...and probably eventually end up changing it more times than you ever thought you would! Every time I change mine around it is *perfect* for how I am crafting right then...but that tends to change over time, new toys and such. All part of the fun, right? :) Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me a comment already. I've never been to a stamp show, either. You'll have to let us know how it goes and make sure to share pics of your haul! You know there will be one! lol ~Deeyll #163

  21. Lovely work area you have there! BTW I saw a new use for the CM ovals you have on your wall on pinterest, shape a rosette in the middle (to hold the form while the adhesive is applied) to make oval rosettes. Thanks for visiting my blog. #155
