What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #188

Another Wednesday is here...and I'm sure we're all back to the normal routine after the Holidays...or trying to be. :-) My bronchitis is FINALLY better. Last Thursday night I broke down and took Nyquil and slept so good.

So onto my post...I have nothing much to share on my desk this week. It's all tidied up. And why am I sharing by the way? Because Ms. Julia at Stamping Ground hosts this snoop around craft spaces. That's why... :-)

The basket on the right side contains Valentine stuff. There's some Penny Black stamps on the bottom left that I have out for a challenge. Otherwise, I cleaned it all up. I actually vacuumed the floor. Everything is all picked up off the floor too.

This year I am REALLY going to organize my craft room. I have another desk like you see on order and should be delivered today. I also bought a pegboard at the hardware store along with some hooks and whatnot that I bought. And some shelves too. So that will be my project coming up...I'll have the desk along the wall and plan on moving my main desk to that space now. This way I'll have room to put my sewing machine in a permanent spot and room for other crafts too. :-)

That's it for me...i'll keep you posted on the "new" room.

  7. Thank you for sharing about your new room - exciting, isn't it! I'm slowly getting furniture for mine, new chair from a local charity called Emmaus tomorrow. They provide accomodation to the homeless and train them in woodworking and craftsmanship to sell to the public, thus earning their keep. I'm happy to help them. Thanks for popping by, all the best, Lucy #22 x

  22. Well done you, so much easier to defeat the viruses etc if you arent exhausted too. Sleep is a great healer. Dont go and overdo it with all your room planning and shelving. It will be lovely, you have access to so much light!

  25. Yay for new organization and more working surfaces to craft on! I wish I could get my sewing machine back into my craft room, alas there simply isn't enough room, but I'm glad you've got the space and I can't wait to see your room all done up. And good on you for getting it vacuumed, too! :) Thanks for stopping by my space and leaving me a comment already...sorry I'm running so late on my return visit this week, but I had to get that pantry finished before I had company today. And now I get to play online visiting! :) Take care and have a great week, Deeyll #142
