WOYWW? #171

Hello all! Happy Wednesday again! Time to go take a snoop at everyone's desk and see what we're all up to (or not)...sounds like a strange thing to do? Nah...it's fun, come join in at Stamping Ground where Ms. Julia hosts this wonderful snoop around the globe at What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday.

This weekend I was working on some cards and it did get a bit messy but than cleaned that all up and now back to the scrapbook. Have a LO sitting here waiting to be finished. This one is of the Viktulienmarkt in Munich. A large, outdoor food market and other goodies. Also, several WOYWW'ers ago, Queen Lightwell suggested I change out my plastic storage containers that were holding all of these paper containers. Well, I finally did. Bought this little cabinet that has 3 shelves on the inside.

One more piece of exciting news....I was selected to be a DT for Sparkle n Sprinkle!! They are an online/retail store that sells cute stamps and all sorts of glitter, embossing powder, etc...I'm really excited because this is my first time ever being a DT. :-)

Happy Wednesday Everyone!! And thanks for all the lovely comments...always appreciate them.

  20. Congratulations on the making a DT! I think that's quite an accomplishment, one you can be very proud of and excited about, too. :) Your LO is looking great, how did you get your circle cutter to work so well?! Mine is always getting a hitch in its giddy-up and snagging the edges of my paper so my circles are screwy. Ugh. lol
And yeah, your new storage looks much sturdier, its going to last you lots longer...the 3 cabinets on the wall above my desk are similar to your bottom unit(and I've been using them for about 5 years or more now). I built a wooden frame(out of 2x4's with 1x1's for "legs") for them, in my WOYWW #156 post you can see the frame, so they could go on the wall. I was too cheap to buy actual wall cabinets, those things are really expensive! lol I attached a decorative rod on 2.5 inch brackets to the front 2x4 and was able to put lots of ribbon on it so it ended up serving more than one purpose. Oh, I also stapled mini light strands up in the bottom of the frame and they give extra light off for my work surface so there's another purpose. But you have that fabulous window so your good on light, right? :) Haha, I mean, it's not possible to get too much light, is it? :)
Take care and thanks for stopping by blog and letting me know my suggestion was helpful. I'm really glad about that, but even happier about you making a DT! That's just so cool. :)
