WOYWW? #164

Well, it's been many months since I last posted to to What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?. I bought a house, so moved and all that stuff. Took some little getaways. Wasn't doing much in the crafty department. But the last 2 months have been getting back into the swing of things. Plus, getting more organized has helped too.

Here's my desk in the new room. Plus some other views...

Right now my desk is actually quite "clean". Have some projects off to the side for Christmas and Halloween. Along with some Twinkling H2O's. A new find. I love the little metal stand I found at Hobby Lobby...have put all my glitter glues and other bottles in there. I always need more "space" when I craft. I can't be facing the wall so my desk faces my backyard and beyond. Love it.

I've started organizing a bit better. I bought the paper cubes from Michael's and Hobby Lobby when they were on sale. Almost half off each time. Now my paper is more accessible and easier to see. Plus, all my other drawers full of glitter and embellishments, etc.

This stand I also found at Hobby Lobby. Thought it would be cute to display some stamps on it. :-)

That's it....new home, new space. Slowly getting it organized.

If you'd like to see what others are up to and the person behind this...head over to Stamping Ground's blog and see what's all the fuss...

  1. What a great space! Love seeing all your supplies, so neatly organized! I'm starting to get jealous of all people with windows over their desks! I want a window!

  2. Ah...there's nothing better than a work desk by a window or facing a window. It is a must! Your area looks so ready for some major holiday creativity! Your little stand is so cute. I am a Hobby Lobbyist too! I have to use the weekly coupon and get a bargain, at least. Thank you so much for visiting me. Crafty hugs! Sandy Leigh at #103

  4. Hi Gita. Lovely crafting space. I wish I had a better view. I do have a window but as we have converted a garage it is too high up to look out of. I have anise view of a car port roof!! Love your little stamp display. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 39

  7. Great to see your new room - looks like you have everything you need to hand & the stamps look lovely on their display stand ! Think I might spend more time day dreaming if I were to be looking out of the window & do less crafty stuff ! But I do need to have a big tidy up & clear out - your space has inspired me ! Ali #97

  15. Love your room, it so spacious! Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a sweet comment, sorry I'm so late returning the visit. It was finals week for my last 2 summer classes. Hope your settling in continues well. I don't know if this applies to you but I have the plastic drawer things too and I've found over time they don't hold up to having heavy stuff stacked on them very well so I'm wondering if you might want to switch them and the paper stackers around, before the paper stackers get too heavy, unless you don't have the compulsive problem I have of buying multiple paper packs at Hobby Lobby when they are on sale for half off...lol I would just hate to have whats happened to me happen to you, and that is the drawers end up sticking because they can't slide properly anymore as the weight of whatever is on top kinda crushes the plastic drawer frames. I love the organization of the plastic drawers but its a drawback that they can't take much weight on top. Well, just a thought, maybe its helpful, maybe not? Take care and have a great weekend! :)

    1. Thanks for the tip Deeyll!! I've already found that out in other ways...the smaller containers that hold heavier stuff sometimes slide down into the next drawer. :-( I'll figure something else out...

  17. What a great window! It must be gorgeous to gaze out while you're working on projects. Congrats on your new home. It looks like the pups have a great back yard to play in. :) If you're anything like me, it's all about the pups! :) Thanks for your visit to my desk. As usual, I'm bringing up the WOYWW rear!
